Welcome to Nest & Stitch Studio. These Terms & Conditions apply when you use our website or purchase products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Please read them carefully before placing an order.

About Nest & Stitch Studio

Nest & Stitch Studio is a UK-based independent business creating handmade gifts, accessories, personalised products and bespoke embroidered items.

Our products include both ready-made and made-to-order items. Some products can be personalised or created specifically to a customer's requirements.

Our Products

We take care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

As many of our products are handmade, small variations in stitching, fabric placement, pattern positioning, dimensions and finish may occur. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and do not normally constitute a fault.

For products made using patterned fabrics, the exact placement of the pattern may differ from the product photographs.

Orders & Personalisation

When you place an order with Nest & Stitch Studio, you are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is complete and accurate.

For personalised products, please carefully check all names, wording, dates, colours, sizes and other personalisation details before submitting your order. We will create your item using the information supplied by you.

Once work has begun on a personalised or made-to-order product, it may not be possible to make changes to your order.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help if production has not yet started, but changes cannot be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to contact you if we need clarification about your personalisation or order before production begins. This may affect the estimated dispatch time.

An order is not considered accepted until we have confirmed it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error, we cannot fulfil the requested personalisation, or we reasonably believe an order may be fraudulent.

Custom & Bespoke Orders

Where we agree to create a bespoke product that is not part of our standard range, the design, price and requirements will be agreed with you before production begins.

Bespoke and personalised products are created specifically for you and may have different cancellation and return rights from our standard, non-personalised products. Please see the Cancellation & Returns section below.

Prices & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£).

The price payable for a product will be the price displayed at the time you place your order, together with any applicable delivery charges shown during checkout.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Orders will not normally enter production or be dispatched until payment has been successfully received or authorised.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to purchase the item at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

Delivery

Available delivery options and charges will be shown during checkout.

Estimated processing and delivery times may vary depending on the product. Handmade, personalised and bespoke products may require additional production time before dispatch.

Any dispatch or delivery dates provided are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We will take reasonable care to prepare and dispatch orders within the times stated. If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate. If you notice an error in your delivery details, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

We hope you will love your Nest & Stitch Studio order. Your cancellation and return rights depend on the type of product you have purchased.

Standard, Non-Personalised Products

For eligible products purchased online, UK consumers normally have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

If you wish to exercise this right, please contact us within the applicable cancellation period. You will then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect or not as described, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

Returned products should be handled with reasonable care. We may make an appropriate deduction from a refund where the value of an item has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.

Personalised & Bespoke Products

The statutory right to cancel because you have changed your mind does not normally apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This includes products made with names, initials, dates, bespoke wording or other custom details requested by you.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a personalised or bespoke product is faulty, not as described, or we have made an error in producing your order.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, not as described, or we have made an error with your order or personalisation, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to the original payment method. We will process eligible refunds in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Care of Products

Please follow any care instructions provided with your product or shown on the relevant product page.

As many Nest & Stitch Studio products are handmade and may contain delicate fabrics, embroidery, embellishments or specialist finishes, appropriate care is important.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, failure to follow care instructions or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Intellectual Property

The Nest & Stitch Studio name, branding, logo, website content, product photographs, graphics, written content and original designs are owned by Nest & Stitch Studio or used with appropriate permission.

These materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative products without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Purchasing a Nest & Stitch Studio product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights associated with the product or its design.

 Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you are purchasing products as a consumer, our products are supplied for private and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses arising from the use of products purchased as a consumer.

Website Use

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or completely free from errors.

We may update, change or temporarily remove website content, products or services where reasonably necessary.

You must not misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious software or use the website for unlawful purposes.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If an event outside our control significantly affects your order, we will contact you where reasonably possible and take appropriate steps to minimise the impact.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the laws applicable where you live.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
